also for those concerned about Hawks QLD vs VIC posting

    - VFB market set to grow almost 10 fold to 2032, at a compounded annual growth rate of 23%, meaning there is room for VSUN and QLD. (Precedence research)

    - Other key vanadium producers hitting issues I.e. largo with poor recoveries, Bushveld with power and political issues in South Africa (refer respective company announcements)

    - China, Russia and South Africa still produce 85% of the world’s vanadium, this is not good for buyers who want supply security. China and Russia also mainly produce via coproduction with steel, meaning VFB manufacturers don’t have security of supply if their is a global decrease in steel demand. (AVL company presentations, which reference other sources)

    - Australia, US, UK, EU and Japan have all named vanadium a critical mineral. China haven’t but they’re increasing vanadium content required in steel, and building VFBs at an incredible rate, so take that how you will.

    - There is a global migration crisis, resulting in large numbers of people wanting to live in small places. This will result in mass infrastructure and medium/high rise spending, and therefore increased steel usage. I am currently in Yucatán, Mexico, which may not sound like a migration hotspot, but it is currently full of Haitians and Central Americans seeking a better life. Tomorrow I will take the new $160B USD high speed train, which is being built to support the growing population, and increased tourism ahead of the 2026 World Cup. The US is currently planning many high speed rail routes, many of which are under construction. More locally to Australia there is the suburban rail loop in Melbourne, and SSTOM in Sydney.

    - add in security of supply and cost concerns with energy, which we know renewables and storage solutions solve, and you can see that a vanadium storm is brewing.

If you’ve got any concerns, write to AVL and post the question and response on HC so we don’t all ask the same questions, write to MPs and government departments with concerns about approvals, permitting, funding etc. and hold tightly onto your shares.
