Peter Nathan was in the middle of that as well, as part of a consortium that tried to take control over the company and install him as CEO.
The kicker is that one of the parties was the same corporate daigou (Andy Zhang) that stuffed A2M around with inventory overstock in 2020. They did they exact same thing with BUB as well. I am convinced that there are some long term shady dealings between Peter Nathan and Andy Zhang that stem right back to their A2 days.
