The only other gold stock I am in atm is De Grey. Outside of that, I have taken a recent position in PLS, hoping it has bottomed, Wisetech, Droneshield and Bitcoin. GAL is a free long hold for me after last year, and I will hold that till 2030.
I love miners and the entire process, from drilling through development to mining and processing. I have been fortunate to have grown up around it and worked in it. But I do worry about commodities, especially if all the moves at QE in China don't move the dial there.
I attended a Defence catchup during the week, where some high ranking American officials gave some interesting insights. 1. AUKUS is already late on the submarine program. Australia is really dragging its feet. 2. Most interesting, they are looking for a local drone supplier or suppliers to manufacture 1,000,000 swarming drones. So, if you look at defence releases, you can see some of the companies that received initial funding to develop. Big ASX opps with some of them.
So yeah, for me, goldies are low atm, but hopefully, De Grey will be a good long once they get fully operational in the coming years.
