The stock tends to drop on certain dates as much as the dividend. Some go shares over divs and
some get the divs then let it drop back and then buy at a lower price.

Most of the time it drops back after div dates and some times which is very rare they shoot upwards.
I'm only here for the dividends. I last bought in big in the last super crash early 2020.

Next big crash might be if Trump gets back in.
A war could break out some place important too which sends stocks south fast.

    Its all gambling.

Iron ore does nice dividends which is all I care about. Since buying back in nearly 4 years the stock has 3 folded.
It could just as easily drop back to $22 range again depending on the iron ore price.

The divs have nearly paid for what I bought the shares for in just 4 years.

This stock goes up and down like a yoyo. Just of late its bypassed the $18 to $22 range and made it up this far.

A few years ago it got to $26 then marched back to $18.

I see the stock in 10 years being far higher than what it is today. Depends how old you are too.
I never put my money into super I put it into the stock market which allowed me to retire far earlier.

Some put their money into risky stocks and they can go south fast. Best to spread it around.
