All very quiet here after a positive half year report.
Fortunately it is not quiet with the trading this week with a nice uptick in price.
Great cash generation and a lot to like, including another 2c div next week.
No tax to pay until later FY 25 or early FY 26.
One of the big sellers has been Sol Pats who held 5% in June 23 and as at 31/12/23 were at 2.9%.
Often business assets have a much higher value than on the books. You can see assets on books depreciated down to zero but still be worth millions.
Their plant and equipment has a cost base of $166M, but has been depreciated down to $59M.
It would be interesting to get an indication of the realistic value of these assets.
