Unfortunately the ABC has fallen under the spell of an anti-business agenda. Critical thinking is often thwarted by group-think.
I certainly see an important role for government regulation and oversight of free markets, especially when it comes to the environment. But if we decide to let the government set the prices retailers charge, we will be on a very slippery slope leading to many negative outcomes in the longer run.
