…  Because I thought this  little snippet might be relevant to any wanting more  comfort about Primeto’s   North American development/progress .. (Ok I’m one who constantly delights in having more comfort… so I guess I mean anyone else!)
It relates to an expected shortage of lithium processing plants in North America. and it reminded me of Jules’ comments that Primero is consulting on just about every one  that is being built, or is in the pipeline.

“Canada is also expanding its network of battery plants with the likes of Volkswagen, Stellantis, LG Energy Solution and Northvolt all making recent investment in the country’s auto sector, potentially creating 250,000 jobs and contributing C$48 billion annually to the economy by 2030.​

There is a scarcity of independent lithium converters planned for construction in North America, however, and LU7 notes a significant gap in lithium conversion and processing looms in the US and Canada.​

LU7 estimates some 800,000t of LCE per annum will be required to satisfy demand in those countries, assuming planned battery manufacturing capacity of 900GWh by 2028 and using a ratio of 850g LCE per KWh.”​

The story is in an advertorial published yesterday on Stock  head about Lithium Universe - a company some may recall was pretty much over the moon about getting Primero on board with its  concentrator design and build last September, (https://investorhub.lithiumuniverse.com/announcements/4414709) and which has now secured a Quebec location in which to build a processing plant.
