I am an electrical engineer so my view on renewables is from the perspective of will it work, and the answer is that apart from specialized and isolated area's no, it is all a fallacy
Both solar and windmills are absolute eyesores and make the land useless for worthwhile use and even in the best scenario can not produce the power that a modern country must have to survive and advance, not an opinion just do the figures, and you will come up short every time
I do agree that different countries have different requirements and should fashion their lives accordingly
I have always been a conservationist but manufacturing reality is at the forefront and also thinking laterally and consequently find the best solution for the problem not the worst
