yeah but coming back to this missing ' initial ' sale of 97,601,513 Piedmont shares.
So in the quest to find answers and be more exact , Piedmont appears to have sold post Top 20 at 31st January 97,601,513 shares from their Piedmont Lithium Inc balance of 249423,211 prior to them then selling the remaining 151,821,698 in the recent block sale at 5.2 cents.
So did they sell it at more the lows of sub 4 cents and just above 4 cents between the 1st February 2024 and 13th Feb - or did they begin this first part of selling from the 15th when the SP climbed and closed at 4.5 cents on day ONE of the week long rally.
And thanks to their disclosure in their quarterly report , we can actually endeavor to make an attempt at working this out and estimating which day and what amount they were likely to have sold.
So we know they received US$7.8 million from their Atlantic sell and US$39.4 million from their block sale of Sayona script.
So that's a total of US$47.2 million from sale of script as against their stated amount of US$49.1 million in their quarterly and year end report.
So that's a difference of US$1.9 million for the unaccounted initial sale of their 97,601,513 or approximately only 1.95 cents per share.....
Is that then even possible given we didn't see a trade in the system for 1.95 cents.
Could it be then as a possibility that they attempted another ' off market trade ( didn't tell us ) , and all they could muster for that one was the 1.95 cents per share. And applying the same 18.75% discount off the lows of 3.7 cents , it would still be 3.0 cents.
So did they ' Gift ' these shares to some other third party ?
Whatever the case , it truly is a bit of a mystery as to when Piedmont after 31st January sold this mysteriously missing 97,601513 shares prior to the block trades on 21st Feb and why we as Shareholders weren't advised of this FIRST sell down via a change in substantial holders notice.
Either way , there is definitely this missing 97,601,513 in Piedmont shares unaccounted for and unexplained as to when and at what price did they sell them.
Very sneaky really. And pretty sure its not actually legal if that's what they done..
