It always makes me laugh when "smaller" holders are astonished that their directors or their company officeholders call them at an AGM or meeting or any other time for that matter. At the end of the day it is your company and they should engage with you (phone, mail, email etc). Kudos to the directors for hitting the phones and engaging with the shareholders, irrespective of their holding. Its something that a lot of other boards should take notice of and do from time to time (communicate - wether that be phone, email, mail etc).
