The destruction of the middle class in most western countries is well underway, driving up prices of the basic needs for life, thus inducing a larger lower class living close to the poverty line who are anxious to vote socialist to get the benefits handed out by their benevolent government.Naturally they grow the public service quickly as another block of socialist voters.{YES i know not ALL public servants vote loony left, but most are looking after their own job security} There are obvious and eventually fatal flaws in this system but it doesnt stop these nutters repeating history since ultimate power corrupts their thinking.
