Meanwhile we closed at 1.6c on Friday and the price has dropped 20% in three weeks since the merger and the company is clearly in a crucial ‘orphan’ stage with off takers and financiers and government reps and contractors all talking to each other and themselves and the board.

… And I’m just genuinely amazed that some here want to start ditching board members just as we’re (hopefully) moving into the next phase of moving towards bedding down the best choices out of all the possibilities out there.

Yep that would make some of those public attention capturing headlines some want!
Here’s a possible template for what the media will be chasing :

When do you think this review of the board should happen Troy ?
The normal procedure for voting strikes against directors up for re-election is at AGMs …or do you think they should drop everything and call for a special meeting sooner?

I really don’t think that ‘reviewing’/deleting board members right now is something on which the focus of this company should be.
I don’t need any numbers to convince me otherwise.
I think the media would love it but I don’t think the potential offtakers and financiers would like it at all.
So why make it an issue ?

The same to anyone who wants to diss the board !
They’re all we’ve got at a crucial time, and if anyone thinks they can do better let them stand for election in a proper way rather than waffling in with nameless backstabbing !
