It doesn't really matter if they sanction Russian Nickel or not as they can just
sell it straight to China as they did during the start of the war.
Nickel went up as the CEO of Canada Nickel advised a restocking after
the Chinese New Year. I agree with him on this. But still I think it will be a
short live rally until production cease from the likes of Nickel west, Ravensthorpe and
Koniambo. Combine this 3 produces over 130,000 t/year.
More important is the NPI producers, most Chinese mainland NPI producers could have
shut down now. Maybe some producers in Indonesia as well with higher costs.
But looking next week, i hope this rally in the sp is not a false one as someone suggested.
A positive Whole year report will support it. Cheers CCD
