bvw,
Haven't got the time or inclination to go through the calculation. I did it very quickly and in a convoluted way.
The sale above book value according to my reckoning adds about 1 cent....0.86 of a cent (that's $0.0086) to NTA.
Happy to stand corrected. All good in my opinion. Here's a thought though.....if something is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it and every time, or at least most times, accordind to my recollection they are able to seel assets above book value, then how accurate (on the down side that is) is book value.
They were able to flog off the thorn in their side at a premium to book value. In my mind's eye, could I not just put a premium on all the other assets in the portfolio?....say by adding, I don't know....5%? Why not?
Cheers and good luck.
