I don't like it when management are targeted on market capitalisation. I much prefer share price targets, as they benefit the shareholder whereas market cap does not necessarily. A market cap target is a good incentive for the CEO to issue more shares as that alone will increase the market cap. Whereas a share price target is a good incentive to not issue more shares, as more shares will make it harder for the CEO to hit his target share price.
For example, you can increase the market cap just by having more CR's like the last one. Before this last raise, $0.16 share price would equal $100m market cap. After this last CR the CEO only needs to get the share price to $0.14 to achieve the same target. Issue another 200m shares and he will only need to move the price to $0.11 and so forth.
