surely any who are concerned for human rights and dignity would be inclined to support all previously abused sector of the community. surely its not a case of each org addresses only their own cause and doesn't talk about other naturally aligned groups. it makes sense to mutuality support each other so that as one makes gains the others too will benefit from a reflected exposure.
"the feminist movement has split". ..... is quite a dramatic description. has it been polarised as the right and the left are so split?
my life desire has been to see the division between left/right dissolve and turn to vapour. its really just feuding each shouting loudly how wrong the other side is. and we all know "thems queer folk on the odder side o'that 'ill". so tribal if we could ditch the division we could fix democracy. though I admit it might make politics, public and internal of orgs, rather boring.
