Having spoken at more than a few conferences, seminars, workshops, & roadshows over my career, yes I do have a a fair idea how it works. Writing to conference organisers as you suggest likely will be ignored.

It very much comes down to the professional circles you mix in, your subject matter expertise and the passions you have for the topics.

Looking at Sophia's webpage https://sophiamoscovis.com/ you'll see she has a wide range of interests and topics that she talks on. I commend her for that and she is clearly knowledgeable and an expert in those fields. But also you won't find the word 'cancer' anywhere on her web page, nor cancer fighing drugs, nor cardio protection, these are topics that don't immediately appear to be in her field of interest.

Likewise on her Linkedin profile https://www.linkedin.com/in/sophiamoscovis/ you'll find very few references to Race, bisantrene or cancer research, but plenty of links to the topics she is most interested in.

So I'm not having a go at her personally or professionally - actually I met & spoken with her at the AGM, she is very very impressive - I am suggesting that there appears to be a misalignment with her speaking interests and the goals and objectives of Race and bisantrene.

I am very senstiive to this as imo RAC need to be doing far more getting the word out there about our company, bisantrene, the research, CP, etc, etc and I would have thought management would be pointing key staff efforts & speaking engagements in this direction rather than apparently unrelated topics.

Anyway that's my opinion, and I apologise to anyone who got their nose out of joint by my original post. I'll shutup now.
