    I really doubt that's going to happen. If it does, NATO troop presence will most likely be limited to Western Ukraine and will be labelled as a "peace-keeping force". They might even take over some of the policing and border patrolling. Which will release more Ukrainian men to go and fight at the front lines.

    Placing NATO troops on the front lines will just confirm all the Russian narratives about NATO being an anti-Russian organisation that wants to take over Ukraine. This thing could trigger a total mobilisation in Russia, and then we'll have WW3. I doubt that NATO countries are so stupid as to get themselves involved in a direct confrontation with a nuclear power. But with the quality of today's politicians - who knows.
