According to some of the phrasing and words used, that article was written by a clearly anti-Russia biased individual, that re-interpreted history in his own way. Not that it matters in the end. Because there's been plenty of facts revealed lately that clearly prove that US was heavily involved in Ukrainian politics.
CIA bases, funding of far-right organisations that were at the spearhead of the illgal coup and so on and so forth.
