Yeah, MT had toned it down a notch but I think this was because who he is potentially talking to for this announcement. He put on his serious face to present PAA to show PAA as a serious contender for SOC in MND. He knew that he had 300 people watching him and that the video was going to be released straight after so little time for editing. I don't blame him for not breaking into his usual chuckles and smiles. Someone already mentioned that they think the Q & A session was mainly rehearsed questions from PAA to get the message out there, it seemed that way to me as well. But no matter, the news is more than brilliant and I like so many others are hoping to see some mainstream media soon, that's what will shift the dial on awareness and SP.

I feel for those poor people being newly diagnosed with a neurological disease now (and those already battling them) that are seeing this PAA webcast and knowing that there is a potential drug which could really make a difference in their lives but that it is not yet available. I understand the need for testing and trials but still to know MPL is out there and not be unable to get your hands on it IMO would be awful. There will be a lot of eyes on the coming phase 2/3 trial and how it goes, as well as with he ongoing trial with the original 12 patients. If the results carry on the way they have been, the pressure to get this drug out there to patients ASAP will be enormous.
