However, when they have mechanisms that are inbuilt in their strategy to pursue this agenda, then it surely means an uplift if the market forces their hand to do something about it in order to maintain a competitive advantage. The last thing they want is "green" steel and energy. They just want to unscrupulously plunder resources free from permits and environmental mumbo jumbo and to maximise profit. I believe in none of that corporate sustainability crap, and yet my best returning companies are in the energy transition and the clean and renewable space. Sometimes you just have to follow the trend.
