Daily VanEck Rare Earth/Strategic Metals ETF

    Hi Cringer,
The charts above are daily charts of LIN (top chart) and Van Eck ETF (bottom chart)
Both have that by now rather familiar down trend that has saddened our lives for the recent past. And again for those who have been constantly complaining that our management have been so terrible at shoring up our share price, this comparison shows that the entire Rare Earth/Strategic Metals sector has done nothing but go down hill in that period and that clearly all managers of rare earths miners and projects are useless. So obviously, in this particular sector its very hard to get good managers as all of them appear to be failing miserably at what they do.

    But ...

    back to the chart.
Both the LIN and VanEck charts are trying to climb over the 20EMA and while both are dithering, as you point out, Lithium miners appear to be getting a bit of a lift and perhaps have seen off their lows.

As lithium and rare earths do to some degree have a similar customer base, I am also hoping that after lithium has had its day in the sun it will be our turn. At least in the last few weeks the charts appear to have lost that down trend, but any signs of a reversal that may be read into the chart have not been confirmed. I am hoping that my suspicions that the low is in will be confirmed in the next few weeks. The short term (hourly/half hourly etc) charts I find relatively unhelpful for LIN as there isn't enough liquidity to paint a clear picture but it does seem that the buying and selling is no longer one sided and at least some interest is returning. We are not on fire yet, but with any good news be it bauxite or RE (and we are at the very least expecting a positive Feasibility Study withing the next 4-6 weeks) I believe we can soon be on the road to recovery.
