Actually, I agree with you on the FDA. Their main concern has to be about safety and blind freddy can attest to the safety record. I doubt even a big or medium sized pharma would / could argue that the safety profile isn't excellent.
So what is the problem then????????
@Denial has been asking that question for a while now (a lot of us have) maybe your mates at the company could articulate what the pushback has been from the people who signed the NDA's?
