Bad news for renters. Sure is. Some landlords are idiots.
A friend of mine was telling me today that after a recent house inspection of the property he's leasing he recieved this:
The agent/owner sent him a follow up letter with two particular qeries.
1. The owner noticed you have a 'no junk mail' written on the letterbox, this was not there when the owner vacated his property?
2. The owner was wondering what the foxtel unit in the garage is for?
I'll take a wild stab at it and say that its probably used for watching foxtel.
Fair dinkum. Talk about important queries! Some people SHOULD NOT be allowed to rent out there house. They should be means tested to see if they are mentally stable enough to cope.
