It's kind of funny how it works. When this (or any company) doesn't live up to Broker expectations, even when the company has given credible and realistic guidance that the analysts have chosen to go beyond, they subsequently adjust their view and the share price of the company takes the hit. It's kind of a weirdly negative confirmation bias. It leads to the incentivizing, for companies, of underestimating real targets to avoid 'missing them'. Fact is: Acadia, with a soaring new product in Daybue, that could have done anything, absolutely nailed their guidance. The Brokers not so much. Who should be called to account?
