Very relevant points.
Except - There has been numerous announcements, yet they seem to be ignored by some punters.
Funding is in place by Quantum who now own 30%
There was a massive dust up Jos Bennet (Pangea ) who sold shares in a blackout period and was unceremoniously ousted from the board despite being the investor that helped Besra relist on the ASX. Since then she has been dumping stock and keeping the price down.
Besra has approx 3M once JORC. Based on 2012 feasibility study we have another 6 to 9M ounces , however that was before the recent deep drilling which produced some high grade results that have as yet not been factored into the equation.
- Pilot plant has been ordered and on the way. We await news as to current status.
- Feasibility study needs to be updated.
- Prior to AGM John Seaton stepped down
- Nobleman ventures have been brought in as advisors. They gave a very frank and decisive account of what the goal is for the future.
- Some are still awaiting announcement of a CEO, when it was made very clear that at this point it would be a waste of company money and those funds could be better deployed.
As we have had the Christmas break and the Chinese new year and now end of February people are getting impatient for news flow which is understandable, however the company have clearly stated announcements are eminent. I have no idea on an exact date or what that news will be.
As for why not be a private company. Just because some investors could see long term value and have accumulated large number os shares does not mean it should be a private company, it just shows they have great confidence in the assets and management of the company.
Quantum are precious metal traders in various forms and just want to secure gold for their company. As for having a seat on the board, well I suppose with their expertise and capital invested it makes perfect sense and they are well connected with the Malaysian Govt (as per recent posts by others).

In short the company and consultants are going flat out to achieve their targets and news will follow as soon as it is available.
It's worth noting the consultants were only appointed late December.

Not trying to ramp it, just keeping it factual to the best of my knowledge.
