the constituion makes the parliament responsible for moeny but it is also repsonsible for a range of other things

there is disagreement on the mining tax but the miners are prepared to pay their fair share - the dispute is over what "fair" means

carbon tax? what carbon tax? they are submitting a range of ideas relating to the price of carbon to a committee - they haven't even met yet so how do you know it will be a tax?

the loony right spend all their time on two things - money and winning votes. this is becasue they have no philosophy underlying their parties' existance. The ALP and the Greens have philosophies. This is the difference
