I doubt Sam would have much to offer the Chinese.
There has been an ex premier and even an ex pm very outspoken in their support of China and criticism of AUKUS.
Then there was the state premier who signed up for "Belt and Road".
Of course the Chinese regard any person of Chinese ancestry as really Chinese anyway. They have relatives to worry about back home too.
