"President Daniel Noboa and the Ecuadorian mining sector will participate at PDAC..set to take place on Mar 3-6 in Toronto. Noboa's participation is seen as a sign of support, and the sector hopes he will make announcements to boost mining locally.. Additionally, Noboa may soothe concerns and pave the way for Canada's approval for the sale of 15% of Solaris Resources , which owns the Warintza copper -moly project to China's Zijin Mining.

BNA speaks to Santiago Yepez, former president of Ecuador's mining chamber.
Yepez: With the approval of the CURIPAMA Environmental licence, its evident that exploration projects can reach the production phase in Ecuador. As a country, we have to demonstrate its feasible to invest in Ecuador, also with the corresponding approvals for LA PLATA & LORMA LARGA.

With these 3 projects, we can talk of a new era of mining in Ecuador, in which other projects like CASCABEL and CANGREJOS can follow."
