i found the wording of having to wait on additional equipment strange given logging trucks were already in the general area. hence the suggestion of coil tubing as reasoning for delay as less readily available and much cheaper than some of the alternatives. as for the loggers - given the what and if discussion on surveying techniques, if i had an (electrified) data transmittal unit onsite i would utilize the equipment to its maximum potential and run additional logs to address potential issues of lateral borehole instability as best practice reservoir management. if i have already paid for the electrified logging truck and crew to setup and shoot a few more holes - why not some additional real time data logs also ?
