Shorter's in IMU were given a financial beating on November 6th. Despite indications IMU had reached it's bottom at $0.039c in the weeks leading up to it. There was the same aroma for pending news then, almost identical to now.
To short at present with IMU- especially for a long period, is like playing Russian roulette (for mine). Only this time there's more weighted news once it comes. The Mast study update caused the 250% increase in SP over just two days. Any further additions ( fully expected now that participants have had an additional 3.5 months ) could see a similar reaction with the SP. Couple this incoming likelihood any time over the next few weeks, with LC stating she hopes to make an announcement "Very soon", just two days ago. Form there take your pick from three ongoing studies and hinted deals being done. This dosn't even considder the FDA fast track approval process in play - Production opportunities for the newly acquired production facilities - NASDQ listings that have the potential to create 20x the investors we see on the ASX.
Given all the above news pending with IMU, who in their right mind would be Shorting IMU. Sure it's a profession for some investors, even employed by the Institution's. There's a reason they have so much money, and its not because they make bad decisions.
As I suggested yesterday- News often follows news with IMU ! When news comes, for mine forget any charts or previous trading history, as the weight of the news we are expecting should be life changing ( over a series of announcements and months). Hopefully for cancer sufferers and all of us capitalists, who have the courage to put their hard earned into their cause.
