I had a look at that possibility in a past post and came to an opinion that CGB tried to make it look like that - doubling of fees.

I think that the more likely reality is their play on words because they said something like 'more than double the expected...'

I tried to get in touch with Nexia (more specifically, their CGB auditor) at the time but they didn't call me back.

I figure that CGB wanted to be charged HALF the regular fees (expected) but Nexia refused this discount, therefore CGB made it look like what they expected, turned out to be double in their small minds, imo.

Maybe Nexia did double their fees, to get removed as auditor?

Either way, they need to submit a statement to ASIC so if there is anything they legally need to disclose, it will come out!

I do note that they wont even finalise the 2023 report until they are setup with the new auditor. So,,, December 2024 maybe?
