Converted to AUD at 65c = $2.88b
After tax = $2.02b NPAT
Payout ratio of 50% after all capital/ growth expenses paid for is $1b or 33c per share. (I would expect increase in payout ration after P1000 complete).
Does all of this justify a $10 share price, a valuation of $30b? That is the question. PE multiple of 15 (high for mining, but is a specialty business) and a dividend yield of 3.3%.
