It hurts my tax return as I get a tax bill instead of a tax return at the end of the financial year.
If STO and some other shares were fully franked it would be to my advantage come end of year tax time.
I was just curious why some companies pay tax for the shareholder before a dividend is paid and others, like Santos do not.
It's not a whinge, it was just a question...
