Pop, Perhaps the point is that you are comparing the benefits that capitalism and socialism have bought us. I have seen them both up close during my life. I remember which one needed the fence and machineguns to keep people in.
I believe vehmently in freedom of the individual. I believe in freedom of association. Being forced by violence to join a union or being thrown physically from a worksite by a large criminal, union thug is dreadful.
The ends do not justify the means, threats of violence to enforce the closed shop should not be happening today in our cities under the noses of the police.
