Presumably, all the asx 200 companies with WBT shares will now ask for them to be returned from their shorters. Probably a fair slug of the shorting % currently taken out. At least that should reduce the numbers of shorters of WBT, which will be a huge relief because they've been an absolute pain in the ass for the stock over the past year. When we get the next series of Foundry/IDM signings and rising revenues/fees, WBT will be a much stronger company on paper, when the SP rises and it re-enters the 200. I can't see the shorters having the same impact on the SP a second time around. So the worst of the shorting may now be behind us.
