I don’t suppose there can be an announcement by IMU until a supply agreement is in place. If IMU do get a supply agreement in place yes it would be the first income other than placements and R&D rebates. So a big milestone if it comes through.
There is nothing saying that TG Therapeutics won’t source elsewhere but I expect that it would come with risk around quality and timing to do so. These are things you probably don’t want to worry about during trial stages. It would have to be more economical to buy through IMU at this stage I expect.
I don’t know the full technical side of the Azer-cel process and if tweaks would need to be made for the indications that TG therapeutics would be going for, but again as far as implementation of such changes in the manufacturing process, I would assume that is in the expertise of the 50 employees at the Azer-cel facility.
So one would hope that there is something in this for us.
