Imagine the two scenarios below;

1. The four entities being FFX, LLL, Mali government and shareholders agree to a settlement that is in everyone’s interest and all permit's and approvals and government shareholding is resolved. Win/Win.

2. Settlement is not sorted by 30 June 2024 and FFX are free to dispose of the cash and LLL shares and become a shell that is not held to ransom by the Mali government.

If LLL and Gangfeng do not receive all approvals but have a plant and ore ready to export it becomes a very simple exercise of placing the plant on C&M and laying off 1,300 workers and no income for any party including the Mali government. Lose/Lose big time especially for the government and employees.


Greed takes many shapes but when push comes to shove a deal will be done or everyone loses.

They're all not that stupid imo.

It all comes down to How Mucho$. As it always does.
