Simple answer is just to block ContraryJ. I did that years ago - life has been so much less aggravating since then. He's like one of those burrowing parasites that gets under your skin and just keeps on annoying. He's never had any LYC as far as I can recall, he spends most of his time on here downramping it, and it's mainly those who may not be familiar with our Negative Nelly that actually don't have him blocked, and actually respond to him. That makes it visible to all the rest of us who have him blocked - we can see the responses.
Save your sanity, don't respond, and just block him.
