Common sense interpretation here is the company didn’t do a fantastic job managing the funding process - the ‘non-dilutive’ financing didn’t arrive in time for whatever reason, and it seemingly found itself with just a couple of mill remaining and needed to raise as a matter or urgency and at the tender mercy of opportunistic brokers.
