@Verminski; I suspect your observation that Andrew Hastie would have more of a chance at leading the Liberal Party forwards instead of in reverse after the next Federal Election.

On his way to the leadership Hastie would have to contend with deadwood, dodo birds, dinosaurs, troglodytes, maggots and nitwits. If he's lucky and the Liberals fail again at the May 2025 Election we'd see a Conga Line of failed and discredited Liberal MPs following Morrison out the door, opening up opportunities for new chums he could mould into a party with relevance to our future.
