Cheers that's very good news. Newmont would not be coming just for this project so hopefully they are looking to become a consolidator in the region.
Another interesting thing I saw was in a presention released by AZS. One slide showed the breakup (by country) of exploration budgets in 2009.
Canada was way out in front with 19%...the next closest was Australia with 14%.
