Safety is never an issue in Australia. We have the world's most stable continent and plenty of areas that aren't earthquake prone at all.
A lot of countries are getting rid of unreliable renewables for nuclear cause it's sustainable and clean.
Gas is also a very good green clean energy as the EU have said so.
Fusion, the holy grail of energy, is starting to become real but will take years to use it as an energy source.
Lithium is so environmentally toxically damaging I'm surprised anyone would touch it with a bargepole!!
Way worse than coal or oil.
