Talk is cheap as they say, I'm patient enough to give them the time to turn this talk into action.
I've got an embarrassingly high average buyin price on this of just under $2 after several bouts of "averaging down", longterm I still am of the view it will be fine due to a combination of getting at least some capital appreciation and obviously dividends throughout that time, however the opportunity cost has been quite painful.
The question people have over outflows turning to inflows "why would people put funds into PTM?" will be the age old adage of they will put funds in to chase the "hot money" AFTER a full turnaround has well and truly occurred.
What's even more likely is the these funds will continue to pour in throughout the next period of underperformance as they will be backwards looking, when the tide turns it's a powerful force, I think we have just passed the low tide point finally, my concern now is this plan will just be an excuse to issue KMP's lots of cheap shares at the low point and then cash in at our expense as the tide rises.
