Next week will be interesting. If its UK insto support/friends of Waterfords, then you would think the buying will be sustained.

Strong sustained buying will result in increased sp.

If its a pump and dump, then it should fizz out next week. Nobody can pump forever.

If its a leak we should have actual news and the buying will suddenly make sense.

So by the end of next week we should have a better understanding of the recent price action and volume.

You could be right. Maybe he's a kiwi or living overseas with an Australian registered address and having mail forwarded.

I know someone who suffered a similar situation about 2years ago. But he sought compensation from the share registry (Computershsare in his case). He raised the complaint directly with them and was happy with the outcome. No need to go further.

In this case, the broker has accepted fault. Not sure why, but the fact they acknowledge fault is good enough.

If not happy with the level of compensation, then FOS need to be contacted. Would be easier to get money from registry, but in this case not their fault.
