peteriso. This announcement is an absolute winner on so many aspects that have assisted in the SP being dragged down to this level. The announcement, IMO, eliminates all of those negative and enabling factors. This is a genuine "foundation" decision.
It is a highly mature and intelligent decision. It shows 100% confidence in Kachi as, maybe, not just it's prime project, but, its ONLY one. Looking at exiting it's other 100% owned properties is a great starting point. Now, very much depending on how much equity that they end up holding with their partnerships etc, they might still be able to retain a shared equity in those other three. But, with their proposed cost cutting and exiting the other three assets it will most definitely make them a far more attractive partner with whom to take on such a major project as Kachi. Well done management!!!
