yes there is a great story unfolding .......this is the story of Sam the Graduate. ( Apologies for the length ...its raining here!)

For a few years now Sam had been working tirelessly to get back on track after his " near death experience". He was now approaching the completion of his MAC (Masters in Company Making). Many had seen Sams efforts, knew of his potential - he had many supporters. In June word had got out that Sam was to graduate with Honours and there was even a possibilty that he would be Dux of Small Caps Class.

Everyone was soooooooo excited and in anticipation of this great event an pre-graduation party was thrown. So many of his long time supportors came and off course so did all of his new friends some of whom included "The come late - leave early" brigade. It was the best party ever - it lasted for days. There was lots of back slapping on how well Sam had done and off course if he was that clever surely he could do better. Everyone was having such a good time they thought the party would never end but soon the food and wine started to runnout. The latecomers were very very disgruntled , afterall there was little of the feast left when they arrived. More pizza was called for - but alas the delivery van broke down and it would be a while until the next delivery came.

The forever hungry party animals - always on the prowl for action were grumbling loudly. But as it was to be an SMS alert was heard - there was action else where. The "come late -leave early" brigade were the first to leave and then a few (mind you - only a few) soon started to follow. Sam by this time was a little tired and just wanted to consolididate - afterall he had worked so hard. Just like after every good party Sam still had mopping up to do and off course there were those whinging stragglers to deal with. Everyone believed if Sam was so gifted he really had the potential to deliver so much more. Sam showed everyone all the goodies he had in store for them if they were just a little more patient. But no - they were so demanding, they kept whinging and whining - some threatening to leave him for good. ( And yes - someone was heard to whisper - he might even get taken out!!! horror - I know1) Sam was so disappointed, everytime he tried to live up to expectations he got knocked back again and again. He felt no matter how hard he tried and despite all he had given them and would do so in the future no one would ever be happy. They just wanted more amd more - they wanted him to be just like Johnny Abv - the new kid on the block from Brazil.

So where is Sam now? Well, Sam has well and truely graduated and now like any graduate he is out there learning,looking at every opportunity and setting himself up for a "Brilliant Career". He is enormously busy - more than he has ever been. All of his hard work as an undergraduate setting himself up will soon be recognised and rewarded. Sam is no longer the poor undergraduate - he has an enormous bank account for a fellow his age - nothing like his peers. Furthermore every year Sams' salary will increase and increase - he has set himself up so well. Sam has even been noticed by one of the biggest firms around in the USA. CHIPCHIP - after reading Sam's Thesis on "Achieving 100% Success Rate in Drilling for Oil in the New NeoBrakken" and "The Next 101 Best Addresses in the Oil Business" purchased the movie rights for over $70 million - WOW!. And wait .... there's more ...they were so impressed they offered to pay him over 1 million dollars a year just for doing nothing. "money for jam" his dad said.

Shortly when the time is right the new Sam will throw another party. But this time everyone knows that when Sam starts sending out invites you better be there - he certainly knows how to party.

So, how will the story of Sam the Graduate end?
