Others dropping through the indexes (eg CXO dropping from the 200), but up they go today. I'm not sure the 300 has much to do with our unhitching today from the rest of the bunch. Dropping from the 300 would have been well known long in advance of Friday by those that it really matters to.
JZ's team may need to hop onto this and issue a clarification (or better still an announcement on the permit being done, yes, out of their hands): - 13 February Bell Potter presentation, "Q1-CY2024". - 19 February progress update, "near term". - website as at today "mid-2024".
All are consistent with the permit being done by end of March 2024. But, putting out "Q1-CY2024" to the market, followed by a confirnmatory "near term" required a high degree of certainty, against the historical backdrop on that issue.
It's frankly misleading if they don't hit that target and we, the shareholders, are going to be punished if that comes to pass.
Looks like someone confused a "Q1" with a "H1" somewhere. But that is something for the linguistic philosophers. Something empowering about communicating with jargon ...
How about they cut the shite, put the big boy/girl/person/it pants on and clean up communications.
And FFS, if we have to drop today, can't we close that gap!!!
