The professionals DO spend significant amounts of time deliberating over these issues, in fact there's a whole organisation dedicated to it (ASIC). They've decided what needs fixing, and have decided that, contrary to the belief of some here, the market is healthy and honest (at least, as much as you can expect when you operate in a domain driven by money). They've decided the benefits (ie liquidity, price discovery etc) outweigh any potential harms of these strategies mentioned as "evil" by some people. Not sure what you're hoping to achieve with the silly petition...
