I find the big increase in POG quite odd as the US $ index is at the same level as last Wednesday and bond yields have not fallen much and went up last night but POG has increased by $US80 and $A120 since last Wednesday.

Someone is buying gold to sent the price up so much in 2 trading days. Not sure it will last and it may fall back to lower levels, there has been no obvious trigger for POG to rise so much. More CB buying or have ETFs suddenly become net buyers?
